    Carpet

    Carpet is made from wool or synthetic fibres, or a combination of both, and comes in a variety of surface textures; a twist pile carpet is hard-wearing and long-lasting, a loop pile carpet has a rugged appearance and is ideal for high-traffic areas, a velvet pile is softer and smoother which makes it feel more luxurious. Gaskin Flooring can advise which is most suitable in consideration of durability, resilience, appearance, retention, feel, practicality and price.

    Carpet can add character to both contemporary and traditional spaces; effusing a warm and cosy ambience, adding a bold statement with rich colours in a striking design, creating a smart and sophisticated tone or providing an understated neutral backdrop in a subtle muted shade.

    Gaskin Flooring offer a carpet whipping and binding service to create smart, tailored runners and bespoke rugs. Alternatively they have a range of natural floor coverings; sisal, seagrass, jute and coir, available in different weaves such as herringbone and boucle.

    Vinyl flooring is exceptionally durable, waterproof, easy to clean and cushioned for comfort and sound insulation, it is ideal for bathrooms, kitchens and hard wearing areas as well as areas with underfloor heating.

    Sophisticated, striking or statement 3D abstract designs may be created from a wide range of shapes and patterns including cubes, hexagons, chevrons and woven designs available in a myriad of colours.
